Feel the Reading Atmosphere

Taiwan was awarded the ALA Presidential Citation for Innovative International Library Projects in 2011 ALA Annual Conference. It is an outcome of long-term practice and hard work of colleagues of Library Association, Central Library, Public libraries of major cities, LIS Education institutions, and various levels of information providers that put their efforts to do the information services to all people.

I actually expect more of our library to be just like a big study room in everybody’s home. If you want to read, you come to library.

The traditional library is like a grocery store. Gradually library become like a convenient store. The library will probably become a department store in the future.

Library is like a story telling house. There are some interesting stories and some interesting experiences …
